My PhD combined elements of data science, modelling and microbiology to investigate the temperature ecology of plant pathogens, of which, CABI’s databases were crucial for various elements of this research.

I joined CABI in 2021 as a Data Analyst in the Knowledge and Data Management Team. I work on various Data and Services projects to support donors and in-country partners in the better management and sharing of data. I also provide analytic and technical support to the CABI Action on Invasives programme, the Global Burden of Crop Loss project as well as other projects.

I promote FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data, human-centred design and the Principles for Digital Development, as part of project design, development, and implementation.
