Supplier Prequalification 2022

The CABI Africa office based in Nairobi, Kenya seeks to prequalify suppliers in a number of categories. They invite bidders to submit applications to be considered for the supply of goods /provision of services in one or more categories.

Registration will be based on the applicant's capability to supply goods and/or provide the outlined services. This will include meeting the set criteria which include the applicant’s legal status, general and specific experience, personnel and financial position as demonstrated by their responses.

Applicants who qualify according to the selection criteria will be invited to submit their quotations or bids for the supply of goods, works or services as and when required.

Consultancy: Situation Analysis of South Sudan Plant Health System

The CABI Africa office based in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking a Consultant to provide a situation analysis of the plant health system in South Sudan, with the analysis contributing towards the overall goal of implementing CABI's global programme, Plantwise, in the country.

The objective of introducing Plantwise in South Sudan is to strengthen the capacity of agricultural advisory systems in the country to support farmers in managing plant health challenges through an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner, using practices that promote integrated crop management.

Consultancy: Assessing indicators of change resulting from gender awareness raising within the agricultural extension sector

Following the validation and publication of the GRAST report in Ghana, CABI has initiated a series of follow-on activities aimed at facilitating action on the areas highlighted as opportunities for improving access of women to extension services.

Activities are ongoing and will continue into 2023. While these activities are at an early stage, it is useful to understand what is happening as a result of work so far and identify opportunities for improvement and adaptation.

We are seeking a consultant to review activities and changes to date. The consultant will identify and plan assessment activities that answer questions and make recommendations.
